COVID-19

A word on COVID-19:

I take this global pandemic/endemic/major public health crisis event seriously. To me taking it seriously means doing everything in my power to keep the most vulnerable in our community safe. Thinking beyond my individual life to the needs of the collective is an important step in an individualistic culture.

In the context of my practice I have implemented these procedures following the current guidance from the BC Ministry of Health, WorkSafe BC, and the College of TCM Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia:

COVID-19 Prevention Plan

  • Only working out of the clinic when a treatment is scheduled

  • Spacing appointments to reduce overlap in the waiting area and allow time for disinfecting all high-touch surfaces between patients

  • Masks are mandatory in the treatment room and strongly recommended in the waiting area, unless an exemption is medically necessary

  • I will be wearing a mask and have received all vaccinations for which I’ve been eligible against SARS-CoV-2

  • I am waiving cancellation fees for clients who are sick or who have been potentially exposed to the virus

  • Practicing effective hand hygiene between each patient

  • Remaining flexible and prepared to implement additional measures at times when the risk of communicable disease in the region or workplace is elevated, as advised and directed by public health
